About Me

I am a software engineer and technology professional with more than a decade of experience working across the technology landscape. My career began in field operations, where I worked directly with networking and communications technologies, before transitioning into software engineering and application development.

Today, my work spans software development, application architecture, CI/CD, cloud technologies, infrastructure, and the systems that support enterprise applications. That experience has given me a perspective that extends beyond writing code. I have worked across multiple layers of technology and have seen firsthand how the different pieces of a technology ecosystem have to work together.

My academic journey has followed a similar path. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and a Master's degree in Information Systems with a specialization in Organizational Leadership. I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Information Technology degree, continuing my interest in the intersection of technology, information, organizations, and society.

Why I Built PresiCompare

PresiCompare grew from an interest in data, technology, and the challenge of understanding complex historical information.

Political discussions often focus on opinions, narratives, and competing interpretations. I wanted to create something different: a technology platform that allows people to explore historical data for themselves and see how measurable indicators changed during different presidential terms.

PresiCompare is my attempt to use technology to make that information easier to explore and understand.

The goal isn't to tell someone what to think.

The goal is to provide the data, context, and tools necessary for people to examine the information and draw their own conclusions.

My Approach

I believe technology is most useful when it makes complicated information more accessible without removing the context that gives that information meaning.

That principle is at the heart of PresiCompare:

Data. Context. Perspective.
